Walkthrough
- 1Start at the bottom of a hill in Archer's Line. Head to the accelerator and enter the left building.
- 2Find the terminal in the back of the room and deploy your Ghost (a small drone companion) to hack it and find information on the Guardian.
- 3After the scene, Fallen will attack. Use the pillars for cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) (a defensive position) and eliminate lesser Fallen. Be cautious moving to the doorway as Stealth Vandals are present.
- 4Take out the Captain that drops from the platform on the right, ideally with a Super Ability (a powerful, rechargeable combat skill) or Heavy Weapon.
- 5Outside, eliminate more Fallen, including a Captain and a Servitor (a floating enemy that heals allies). Prioritize destroying the Servitor.
- 6Once the final group outside is eliminated, the vehicle link is established. Use your Sparrow (a hoverbike) on the Moon.
- 7Go to the rooftop and wait for a Dreg on a Pike (a flying vehicle). Shoot the Dreg and hijack the Pike.
- 8Head under the accelerator to the Anchor of Light. Use the shock cannons on the Pike to defeat the resistance and exchange it for a new one before proceeding.
- 9Enter the Temple of Crota and have your Ghost scan the computer inside.
- 10Before entering the Temple of Crota, stay near the opening and eliminate the Servitor and Captain.
- 11Drop down and proceed to the bottom of the hill. Scan the Guardian near the large gate.
- 12Hive will emerge from the gate, turning the area into a Darkness Zone (an area where Guardians cannot respawn (be brought back to life at a checkpoint after death)). Eliminate the charging Thrall first, then take cover.
- 13Use precision headshots (shots to the enemy's head for increased damage) on the Acolytes and a grenade on the Knight.
- 14Enter the Temple of Crota and follow the path to the right up the steps.
- 15Engage the Major Wizard (a more powerful variant of a Wizard) from a distance if possible, or use a Super Ability or Heavy Weapon.
- 16After eliminating the Hive, revive the Dead Ghost to complete the mission and return to the Tower.
- 17Visit the Speaker in the Tower to receive a Speaker's Writ, which can be exchanged with the Gunsmith.
- 18To start The World's Grave mission, head up the hill in Archer's Line towards the Hive Fortress.
- 19At the other end of the accelerator, descend to face a large number of Fallen.
- 20Use a Super Ability and Heavy Weapons to defeat the two Major Knights.
- 21Enter the Hive Fortress, drop to the bottom level, and follow the path into the Hall of Wisdom.
- 22In the Hall of Wisdom, eliminate Acolytes, Knights, and a Wizard. A well-thrown grenade can clear multiple foes, and a long-ranged or Heavy Weapon is good for the Wizard.
- 23In the second tier of the hallway, a Knight and a Shrieker await. A Hive drop ship will arrive, adding Thrall, Acolytes, and a Wizard.
- 24Use a grenade and a Super Ability to clear the Thrall and Acolytes, then target the Shrieker when it opens to fire. Use Heavy Weapons for the Wizard.
- 25Follow the path into the Circle of Bones.
- 26In the Circle of Bones (a Darkness Zone), Hive drop ships will attack. Defeat Acolytes, a Knight, and a Wizard.
- 27Leap over a tall fence to reach a circular area containing the Major Knight. Defeat the Acolytes and Wizard from cover while avoiding the Knight's explosives.
- 28The entrance to The World's Grave is at the far end of the opening.
- 29Hop down to the bottom floor of The World's Grave and proceed through the cave, being ready to melee the charging Thrall.
- 30In the Darkness Zone, defeat rushing Thrall using cover, then use cover to get off precision shots on Acolytes and a Knight.
- 31In the final room, use a Sniper Rifle to headshot (a shot that lands on the enemy's head, usually an instant kill) an enemy, followed by a grenade, to quickly clear most enemies.
Tips
- Prioritize eliminating Servitors as they heal other enemies.
- Use Super Abilities or Heavy Weapons for Major enemies like Captains, Wizards, and Knights.
- Hijacking a Pike allows you to use its weapons and mobility.
- The Shrieker in the Hall of Wisdom can only be damaged when it opens its mouth to fire.
- Use cover effectively to avoid enemy fire, especially in Darkness Zones.
