The Legacy of the Horadrim?: Is Of Horadrim

Discover the Legacy of the Horadrim in Diablo Immortal! Learn how to obtain Caldesann's Compassion, find Iben Fahd's Sanctum, and socket Vessels for passive stat boosts.

Alright, so you've cleared the 10th level of a Challenge Rift. Pretty cool, right? Well, out of nowhere, you'll snag the Caldesann’s Compassion Vessel. Don't expect a big fanfare; this little item kicks off the "Legacy of the Horadrim" quest. This is actually a pretty big deal because it unlocks a new way to get passive stat boosts and gives you another daily dungeon to farm.

After that Challenge Rift, you'll need to hunt down a fountain to investigate. A ghostly Horadrim dude will then point you toward a statue just north of where you entered the Challenge Rift. Chat with the statue, and bam! You've found the entrance to Iben Fahd’s Sanctum. This place is key for the Legacy of the Horadrim system and also hosts a daily dungeon where you'll grab the materials needed to upgrade your Vessels.

Head into Iben Fahd’s Sanctum. There's a bit of talking involved as you get introduced to the sanctum itself and the "Legacy Shrine." Stick with it, though, because at the end, you'll install that Caldesann’s Compassion Vessel you found earlier. This gives you a small bump to your Armor and Armor Penetration. The game will then guide you deeper into the Sanctum to tackle your first run of the Iben Fahd’s Sanctum dungeon.

What is the Legacy of the Horadrim?

Remember back in the day when your gear was pretty much the only place to get stats? Those days are long gone. Now, there are tons of ways to boost your character, and the Legacy of the Horadrim is just another one. Basically, it's a system where you socket Vessels into a device to get passive stat boosts. These Vessels are like fancy gems you find through various means. They usually offer a single secondary attribute or maybe two, and while they start out small, upgrading them makes them a bit better. It's not game-changing, but hey, every little bit helps, right?

To use and upgrade Vessels, you need to go back to Iben Fahd’s Sanctum and interact with the Legacy Shrine. You'll see a menu showing the Legacy of the Horadrim device, which has nine sockets. You can put a Vessel in each one. To see what a Vessel does, just click on it when it's socketed. You'll also see an "Upgrade" button on the bottom right of the screen when a Vessel is selected, allowing you to improve its stats.
