Alright, let's talk about the enemies you'll face in this particular battle. It's a step up from the last couple, but nothing you can't handle if you've been following along. You're up against six Zombies chilling right in front of you, four Imps hanging back, and a Gremlin who's basically a souped-up Imp.

Now, these Imps are the real pain in this fight. They're some of the most annoying enemies you'll run into in the whole game. Their signature move is the Hell Pepper, which is a line attack that hits up to three characters in front of them. It does pretty heavy damage and can poison you, so you'll definitely learn to hate them. But hey, one step at a time, right? Let's start with those Zombies.

You'll see the six Zombies lined up in two rows of three. This setup is just begging for you to use Laharl's Blade Rush or a three-square-long Fire spell from a Red Skull. If you've got a character for each of the seven weapon types by now, you should be able to wipe out all the Zombies within two turns, easy.

By the time the Zombies are down, those Imps should be closing in. If they've managed to get into a good position, make sure your Red Skull blasts them with something strong. Honestly, from here, just play it by ear depending on how they're spread out. Use powerful attacks like Boulder Crush, Tiger Charge, Sky Lunge, or Hurricane Slash to take down the remaining Imps.

Save that Gremlin for last. Once all the Imps are dealt with, you're pretty much in the clear for this battle. Before you head to the next big fight, make sure you've taken a moment to read Etna's diary. After that, it's time to push on to the end of the Frozen River for the showdown with Laharl and Flonne.
