First up, Etna has a few special skills that unlock as you level her up:

• Lv. 5 - Prinny Raid: This skill is a bit weaker than Etna's standard spear attacks, but it has a longer range. It can hit enemies one square further away, dealing a decent amount of damage. It's a good early-game skill to keep enemies at bay.
• Lv. 20 - Sexy Beam: Honestly, this one isn't great. It hits a bunch of squares around Etna, but the damage just isn't worth the effort. You're better off using her regular attacks or other skills. Don't expect much from this one.
• Lv. 50 - Chaos Impact: Now this is much better! While not exactly groundbreaking, Chaos Impact is significantly more useful than Sexy Beam. It hits enemies in a line ahead of Etna and deals really good damage, plus it has a nice range. Definitely a skill to look forward to.

Now, let's switch gears to Flonne. She's a total opposite to the demons like Etna and Laharl. She's an angel from Celestia who originally came to the Netherworld to take out King Krichevskoy. Instead, she decided to find out if demons could truly love, which is a whole other adventure for her! Flonne is super sweet, naive, and innocent, which is why Laharl can't quite decide if he likes her or not. She's a bit of a mixed bag in battle, though.

Flonne's best with staves and can use bows okay, but her real early-game strength comes from her Power of Love skill. This ability heals everyone around her, which is super handy! To get her leveled up and make her more effective, you'll want to give her some Mana. Then, create a Star Skull or any other skull and have her learn their spells. Once she's got some spells under her belt, she becomes a much more helpful character on your team.
