Learn how to take down the Psi-Soldier, Cyborgs, and Recruits in Disgaea: Hour of Darkness. Get tips for using Winged Slayer and Asteroid Drop effectively.

Alright, so you've run into a group of enemies that might look a little intimidating at first glance, but don't sweat it! We've got a Psi-Soldier, a couple of Cyborgs, and a whole squad of Recruits. Think of these Recruits like that 'Wall of Meat' from Chapter 3 – they're all lined up nice and neat, perfect for a wide-reaching attack like Laharl's Winged Slayer. Follow that up with some long-range magic, maybe Asteroid Drop or Lion's Roar, and you should be able to clear them out in no time.

Here's the breakdown:

• Lv. 55 Psi-Soldier x1
• Lv. 51 Cyborg x1
• Lv. 50 Cyborg x1
• Lv. 45 Recruit x5

When you start, focus on those five Recruits. Try to position your characters so that even those with lower movement can reach them, maybe by throwing them into position. The middle Recruit is usually the easiest target to start with. Your goal is to wipe out all five Recruits in a single turn. Once they're gone, the two Cyborgs will make their move.

The Cyborgs aren't too much of a hassle, but that Lv. 55 Psi-Soldier? Yeah, he's the real pain. His Wind Cutter attack can be brutal and might send a few of your characters to the afterlife if you're not careful. Make sure you've got some solid characters left who can handle him directly. This fight is a good warm-up for the next one, which is significantly tougher, so definitely stock up on some new armor before you press on!
