Learn how to defeat the Level 2000 Overlord Priere in Disgaea: Hour of Darkness with a special strategy, even if you're not max level. Get tips for this epic boss fight!

Alright, so you've made it to the big one: Level 2000 Overlord Priere. This is a seriously epic fight, and the game's best song, 'The Invasion Within,' plays, which is awesome! But man, if you're not super high level, this battle can drag on forever. Like, seriously, half an hour or more. You *can* actually win this around Level 750 with a neat trick, but if you're trying to brute force it, Priere will absolutely wreck you. She's Level 2000, and rocking the Arcadia, which is basically the best emblem in the game. So yeah, this fight is a real pickle.

But don't sweat it! There's a super cheesy, but effective, way to win this. Big thanks to Salah al Din for figuring this out. See those little islands surrounding the main battle area? If you can throw your cat girls and even Priere onto those small islands (they're only 3-6 squares long), they won't attack you, heal themselves, or do anything at all. To pull this off, you'll want a couple of characters with a Throw stat of 6 (which you'll need for Cave of Ordeal 5 anyway). Bring extra characters if you need to, just to do the throwing, but don't have them act. This is totally doable since they'll just chill on the islands once they're there. Once that's set up, make sure you've got at least two mages out, preferably four. You'll need them for Braveheart.

Your biggest concern now, assuming you've got the islands sorted, is running out of SP. Seriously, bring some SP recovery items. After you use Braveheart five times, you'll need to use it twice every turn to keep your stats maxed out, and that eats SP like crazy. For the cat girls, feel free to use guns or whatever to chip away at their health. But Priere herself? She has a whopping 500,000 HP. My Wind Cutter was only doing about 10,000-16,000 damage, so this fight is a marathon. Stick with Wind Cutter, even if Dimension Slash hits harder. If you run out of SP, you're toast. But if you've got the strength to power through or the patience for this strategy, your reward is Priere herself! She's an absolutely fantastic character, with ATK rivaled only by Divine Majins, and she comes with that amazing Arcadia emblem. Now that you've conquered this beast of an Alternate Netherworld, finish up the Cave of Ordeal if you haven't, and then you can tackle Beauty Castle – your new Level 2000 Priere can probably solo it!

Oh, and one last thing: enjoy the massive amount of HL you get from this battle. It's a nice bonus, and the item drops are pretty great too, with a bonus rank of 60!
