KLEEVER

• Attacks: Throws fireballs, tries to slice you, tries to stab you

Phases:

1. Kleever pops out of the lava, held by a lava hand. He'll hurl three fireballs at you, followed by a Kannonball falling from the ceiling. Use this Kannonball to hit Kleever.
2. After the first hit, hooks will fall from the ceiling. You'll need to start crossing the lava pit immediately, as numerous fireballs will chase you. On the other side, another Kannonball awaits. Pick it up and hurl it at Kleever.
3. After the second hit, more hooks will fall. Cross the lava again, grab the Kannonball, and use it on Kleever. He'll go crazy, trying to slice you repeatedly.
4. After the third hit, you'll need to go onto the hooks, jumping higher as you go, and then jump off the far side. A Kannonball will be waiting for you there. Use it on Kleever when he returns to his calmer, floating self.
5. After the fourth hit, cross the lava one more time using the hooks, just like the previous crossing. Use the Kannonball on him again.
6. After the fifth hit, Kleever will explode down to his bones!

Strategy:

• When Kleever first appears, grab the Kannonball that drops from the ceiling and throw it at him.
• After the initial hit, hooks will appear. You'll need to quickly traverse the lava pit while dodging fireballs. Grab the Kannonball on the other side and use it on Kleever.
• Repeat this process of crossing the lava using the hooks, grabbing Kannonballs, and hitting Kleever.
• During one phase, Kleever will try to stab you. You'll need to stand still and wait for him to line up his stab, then hop over him and make your way across the lava to a Kannonball.
• In another phase, he'll try to slice you repeatedly. Use the hooks to jump higher and reach the other side to find a Kannonball.
• Keep hitting him with Kannonballs until he's defeated.
