    Rickety Rails: Start by using the barrel cannon to fire into the background. Jump into a hole in the left tree to get the first puzzle piece. Ground-pound the yellow bulb with a barrel cannon to create an entrance into the caves. Go back to the background using a barrel cannon and head right. Ignore the platforms going up and walk through the right wall to reveal the second puzzle piece. After a checkpoint, enter the bonus area from the right. On the first mine cart jump, wait to grab the 'O'. After tilting track, grab the 'N' above the platform quickly before hopping into the barrel cannon. After another mine cart section and blast barrels, you'll fall through wooden platforms. Stay put to fall into a blast barrel leading to a bonus area. After the bonus, use the barrel cannon to get the next puzzle piece by jumping slightly late on the second cart ride. On the next mine cart, jump into the blast barrel to get the 'G'.

    Grip & Trip: Start by heading right. The path splits early on; take the top path for the first puzzle piece.
Tips
  • Safe spots with hearts on them can be used to hide for a round before continuing.
  • Duck to avoid descending spikes, but be aware of invulnerable tiki tanks that follow you.
  • Areas with two vases are safe havens for a breather.
  • When dealing with fire sprite blocks, either side of the block is safe for a round.
  • In one section, you can let the blocks push you into a hole with a safe spot to collect a puzzle piece.
  • When a wall and ceiling are closing in, run quickly to the other side.
  • Some blocks are not always safe; be cautious when jumping on them.
  • To get the 'O' in Grip & Trip, wait as long as possible before jumping on the first mine cart.
  • To get the 'N' in Grip & Trip, grab it quickly as the platform won't last long.
  • To get the puzzle piece in Rickety Rails after the bonus area, jump slightly late on the second cart ride.
