Part 30

Start Part 30 by jumping through a block in the top-left corner to claim a puzzle piece.

In the next area, use moving platforms to reach the top-left corner.

Climb while dodging two electric bugs that follow you; use their poor turning radius to your advantage.

Near the top of this area, to the left of the spring, walk into the right wall of an ornate block to reveal a hidden puzzle piece.

After the electric bugs explode, deal with falling blocks and then floating springs that appear from the lava, along with one more electric bug.

After the springs appear, the second platform on the left has an ornate wall decoration above it. Jump through this decoration to find a puzzle piece.

The very next platform on the right has the same decoration. Jump through it to find another puzzle piece.

At the top of the final ascent area, a blast barrel marks the end. Head right to collect your orange orb.

Foggy Fumes (7-1): Start by jumping on the first fan and spinning the blades while collecting bananas. Collecting all bananas yields a puzzle piece.

[K] Foggy Fumes: Continue right until you see a fan with a broken blade. Ride this fan left and jump to the platform on the left to get the K.

Foggy Fumes (2): To the right of the next fan, jump onto the hanging platform. Jump off it to the right to pass over the wall and get a puzzle piece.

[O] Foggy Fumes: Continue right to a barrel cannon that launches you into the background, obscured by fog. The bottom platform in this series holds the O. Be cautious of your jumps as platforms are hard to see.

Foggy Fumes Checkpoint (an auto-save point you restart from on death): A bright green checkpoint is located here.

Foggy Fumes (3): Jump left from the current platform and continue across smokestacks. A puzzle piece is on the third smokestack.

Foggy Fumes: Head back right to a fan. Turn the fan to move a nearby wall up, then jump into the barrel cannon.

Foggy Fumes (4): In the background, above the second moving platform with a hook, a puzzle piece is hidden by fog. Blow it away from the platform on the right, then jump to grab it once visible.

[N] Foggy Fumes: After returning to the foreground, the N is above the first platform. Jump to grab it.

Foggy Fumes (5): In the area with tiki zings, take the high path right. Jump through the wall coming from the top of the screen to find a hidden area with a puzzle piece.

[G] Foggy Fumes: Jump right from the hidden area platform to see the G. You need more height than available from the ground, so if you miss, return to the hidden area.

Foggy Fumes (6): Blow into the megaphone at the right end of the current platform to get a puzzle piece.

Foggy Fumes (7): The broken fan to the right has a puzzle piece on its top-most platform. Jump up to get it.

Foggy Fumes Exit: Continue right to a large, red button. Ground-pound it to blow fog out of the factory. A blast barrel will appear and launch you to the exit barrel.

Slammin' Steel (7-2): Start right. In the area with two conveyor belts, jump right off the second belt to land high on a platform. A puzzle piece is on the right.

[K] Slammin' Steel: The K is ahead and in a safe spot; simply jump up and grab it.

[O] Slammin' Steel: Continue right to a conveyor belt with two sets of two electroids and buckbots. The O is in a gap between the two platforms above the belt. Jump off a buckbot for sufficient height.
