Alright, so you've finished up 'The Bone Pit' and are ready for a little optional side quest? Good! This one's called 'Inside Job,' and it's a nice little detour that can net you some useful gear and information.

First things first, you'll need to head back to your Hawke Estate. Go over to the Writing Desk and look for a letter that mentions the ‘Inside Job’ quest. Give it a read, and then it's off to the Hightown Market. Make sure you go during the day!

Once you're in the market, find Hubert. He's the guy you'll be talking to. When you first chat, he'll be a bit busy, so tell him to 'hold on' for a moment. You'll want to take this time to browse the shops around him. Specifically, head to the northeast corner and check out the book titled A Study of the Fifth Blight, Vol Two. It's worth a quick read.
