A Murder of Crows (Optional)

Alright, so you're looking to tackle the optional quest 'A Murder of Crows' in Dragon Age II? It's a pretty straightforward one, but it's easy to miss if you're not keeping an eye out. If you imported a save from Dragon Age: Origins and Zevran is still kicking, you'll get a little extra context here.

First things first, you'll need to head over to Hightown. Look for a guy named Nuncio hanging out near The Blooming Rose. Chat him up and agree to help him out. He'll send you off to Sundermount.

Once you're in Sundermount, you'll have to deal with some thieves. After you've taken care of them, keep an eye out for a trap - complex. Disarm it, and then make sure to search the bodies nearby. You're looking for the Sylvanwood Ring. Keep heading west, and you should find The Awiergan Scrolls: Third Aspect. Grab that, and then make your way into the camp. Inside, you'll need to find and talk to Variel. He'll tell you that your target, the Antivan, is up in a mountain cave. There's a shop there if you need to grab anything before you head up.

Before you head up the mountain, let's check out the shop. Variel is standing to the left, and the Mountain Cave is to the right.

Alright, now head northwest. You'll run into some Darkspawn along the path, so take them out. After that, enter the passage where they were and keep heading north. You'll find some bones there. Continue north into the next room, where you'll find more bones. Be ready for some resistance in the hallway. Keep pushing east, and you'll find a lootable Roadhammer on some more bones. Enter the middle circular area, and you can loot a corpse for Vir Atish’an. There's also a shop here called Nexus Golem’s Wares, so feel free to check it out.
