Mana System: Spells are now cast using mana, which automatically replenishes over turns. The rate of replenishment is influenced by the amount of land you control and the number of Mana Vaults you have constructed.

Spell Upgrades: Many spells have been redone and can be upgraded after all basic spells have been researched.

Horned Reaper Summon: The Horned Reaper is no longer a standard creature. Instead, it can be summoned for a significant mana cost. Once summoned, it will go on a destructive rampage for a short duration.

Creature Stun Mechanic: Dropping creatures onto the ground now stuns them for a period, making them vulnerable. The duration of this stun varies by creature type (e.g., Imps are not stunned, Bile Demons take longer). Creatures are not stunned if dropped in a Combat Pit.

Imp Experience: Imps no longer require training to level up; they gain experience by performing their duties.

Training and Combat Rooms: The Training Room only trains creatures up to level 4. Higher levels can be achieved in the Combat Pit (up to level 8) or through actual combat/using the 'Increase Level' Dungeon Special.

New Rooms: The Scavenger Room has been removed. Two new rooms have been added: the Casino (for morale/funding, but can decrease creature happiness) and the Combat Pit (for creature training).

Creature Changes: Several creatures have been added and removed. Notable omissions include Dragons and Demon Spawn, with a fire Salamander taking their place. There's a greater emphasis on human creatures, with additions like Rogues and Black Knights.
