Guide to Dungeon Keeper 2's 'Aftermath' mission. Reclaim rooms, build an army with Salamanders, Mistresses, and Trolls, and defeat Lord Titus.
Walkthrough
- 1Start with three Salamanders, two Mistresses, and a Troll. Your initial goal is to build a large army to defeat Lord Titus.
- 2Methodically reclaim every abandoned room, neutralize Hero Portals, and destroy or capture guards.
- 3To the left of your Dungeon Heart are a Hatchery, Training Room, Casino, Prison, Guard Room, and Torture Chamber. To the right are a Workshop and a Library. There is also a Portal.
- 4Do not claim the Portal immediately, as it will trigger an alarm and alert nearby wizards and guards.
- 5Mine the small gold seam and claim the Hatchery. Kill enemies to gather enough gold to build a bridge to the Lair.
- 6Claim the Lair and ensure your creatures rest. Continue left to claim the Treasury.
- 7Once your creatures have gained a level or two, claim the Portal and destroy the Wizard in the water.
- 8A Fear Trap blocks access to the Library and Workshop. If you still have Mistresses, they might disable it. Otherwise, wait until you claim the Prison and acquire Skeletons. Warlocks are not essential here.
- 9Focus on excavating towards the Prison and Torture Chamber.
- 10Once you claim the Casino, a Rogue may join you. Rogues are good at stealth, disabling traps, and exploration.
- 11As you excavate, destroy all enemy traps and doors. Disable Hero Portals by claiming the surrounding land. If a Portal is in water, build a bridge around it to neutralize it.
- 12Upon claiming the Prison, start building a Skeleton army.
- 13Excavate to the Torture Chamber to find three neutral Mistresses. Click on them to pick them up and place them in your main dungeon; they will automatically join your creatures.
- 14Capture Giants that attack via your Casino. Converting enough Giants and Guards will help defeat Lord Titus. Aim to convert around six Giants for a strong strike force.
- 15Lord Titus can be approached from the front or either side. Avoid excavating near his area until ready to attack. The sphere of alertness indicates his awareness radius.
- 16The left side is recommended for attacking Lord Titus. Break down the nearby door, have Imps claim land up to his Fort, and then drop your attack force or cast "Call to Arms".
- 17If you have the Horny Talisman from a previous realm, cast it on claimed land near Lord Titus for a spectacular finish.
