Where to Find Them:

Your main hunting ground for Ammonia Glands is the Umber Hollow, a Shroud area located in the Nomad Highlands. The easiest way to get there is to fast travel to the Nomad Highlands Ancient Spire in the northeast part of the map. From there, just glide directly south. If you fall off the cliffs to the west, you'll land in the Umber Hollow. Alternatively, if you follow the path south from the spire, you'll eventually find a Vukah passage. Keep going south past a cave, and the path will loop back north and downwards, leading you right into the heart of the Umber Hollow Shroud. Stick to this path, and you'll even find a respawn beacon after a bit, which is super handy!

Farming the Evil Mushrooms:

The Ammonia Glands come from the Evil Mushrooms. You'll find them scattered throughout Umber Hollow, but you'll have better luck spotting them if you venture off the main path into the areas on either side. When you encounter one, here's the trick: aim for the glowing red glands on its front and sides. Shooting these off before you defeat the mushroom will net you an extra three Ammonia Glands on top of the four you get from just killing it. That's a sweet bonus!
