Alright, so you're looking to get your hands on some Sand in Enshrouded? It's a pretty common material, but you won't find it just anywhere. You'll need to venture into a specific biome to start gathering it.

Where to Find Sand:

Sand is exclusively found in the Kindlewaste biome. This is the fifth major biome you'll encounter in the game, located way out to the east on the map. To even get close, you'll need to have your Flame Level at least at 4, which allows you to reach the Nomad Highlands. Once you're there, just follow the main paths heading as far east as you can. You'll notice the landscape change – the Limestone rock will eventually give way to sand. From that point on, just start mining any sandy patches you see, and you'll be gathering Sand. Keep an eye out, because sometimes you'll hit harder rocky areas within the desert, and you'll end up mining Sandstone too!

Best Gathering Spots:

The easiest way to get a good amount of Sand is to simply mine those big piles of sand you'll find. A lot of the paths in the Kindlewaste are actually made of Sandstone, which is great because it means there's plenty to go around. Look for the larger sand dunes, and also check around any submerged ruins you might stumble upon – these spots can yield a surprising amount of Sand.

What Sand is Used For:

Once you've got your Sand, it's super useful! You can use it with the Construction Hammer for landscaping and building. It's also a key ingredient for creating Aloe seeds. These seeds can then be planted and farmed, providing you with materials needed to refine into healing potions and bandages, which are essential for end-game survival. When you're using the Construction Hammer and want to landscape, just scroll down your preferred soil type list, and you'll find Sand ready to go!
