It's a pretty important piece for getting your Flame Level up to 5, and honestly, it makes a pretty cool trophy too. Don't worry, I'll walk you through exactly where to find these things and how to take them down.

Where to Find the Fell Monstrosity:

From what we've found, there are two main spots you'll want to check out:

• The Elixir Well, located in the Shroud.
• The Cradle of Dusk, which is a Point of Interest (POI) way up in the northeast part of the Nomad Highlands.

The Cradle of Dusk is probably where you'll run into your first one. It's a small camp chilling near the Nomad Highland Spire. If you've already unlocked the Spire, just head west or northwest from there, and you'll stumble upon this little camp tucked away in a small Shroud pocket. If you haven't unlocked the Spire yet, just follow the main routes through the northern part of the Highlands, and you'll eventually loop around to it. If you get lost in the Shroud, stick close to the cliffs – there are usually cave passages that will help you climb up.

The other spot is the Elixir Well, found in that big Shroud-filled pit near the town of Umbral Hollow. You can spot Umbral Hollow pretty easily – it's in that large pit covered in Shroud in the central-eastern area of the Nomad Highlands. No matter which of those spots you pick, the Monstrosity will be waiting for you right in the middle. These guys are pretty tough, and they've got a few nasty tricks up their sleeves you'll need to watch out for:

• Triple Shroud Bolts
• Shroud Area attack
• Shroud Shower attack

The Triple Shroud Bolts are its go-to move. It'll open up its chests and then blast you three times. The best way to dodge this is to pick a side – left or right – and then immediately dodge back the way you came. Here's the trick: it locks onto you for the first two shots, but the third shot goes in the direction you initially dodged. So, if you dodge one way and then quickly switch back, you'll completely avoid all three bolts. It sounds simple, but nailing that timing is key.

Then you've got the Shroud Area attacks. When it jumps up, it's signaling that it's about to rain down shroud bolts in that area. It also leaves behind a big AOE marker for a deadly Shrouded spot – definitely don't step into that if your Shroud timer is low! This might not be too much of a problem in the Cradle, but it can be a real pain if you're fighting it in the Elixir Wells.
