To spawn Boss Veggies in FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time, you first need to unlock the Farmer Life by completing the events on Faraway Island. Once unlocked, purchase fields from Cooke in the guild office and place them at your base. Buy the correct seeds from the guild merchant, plant them on every spot of your fields, and water them. After about 30 minutes, check your crops. A sparkling sprout indicates a guaranteed Boss Veggie spawn. Even without sparkles, they can still appear rarely. Continue watering your crops; after the second watering, they will be fully grown. If no Boss Veggies appear, harvest and try again.

To harvest Boss Veggies, approach them and use your hoe. A meter with four spots will appear above them, indicating loot quality. Look for red arrows on the ground around the Boss Veggie. Striking these spots, similar to the Sweet Spot Search in other gathering Lives, will fill the meter and increase your loot without significantly damaging the Boss Veggie. After depleting its health, you will receive your crops.

Boss Veggies can also be found as the boss of a Treasure Grove. Items dropped by Boss Veggies can also be purchased from the wandering merchant in Ginormosia, though his stock is randomized.

The Legendary King Spud spawns exclusively in Ginormosia once its respective regions reach Area Rank 3. It can be found in South Greatgut Plains, Viridia Plateau, East Greatgut Plains, and West Greatgut Plains.
