1. Gathering in Treasure Groves: Treasure Groves can randomly yield Pink Silk Thread from pick-ups. This method is unreliable due to the random nature of the groves and the pick-ups themselves. Wooden crates in The Depths can also contain the thread randomly.
2. Defeating Sand Spiders and Greater Sand Spiders: These enemies, found in the Dryridge Desert areas of Ginormosia, are a primary source of Pink Silk Thread. The drop rate increases significantly around Area Ranks 3-4 for these regions. Greater Sand Spiders begin appearing at Rank 3. In The Depths, specifically on B3, Sand Spiders can be found in the first room after descending, making them farmable using the Teleportation Gate.
3. Defeating Gloom Spiders: Gloom Spiders are a rarer enemy that can drop Pink Silk Thread more frequently. Their primary habitat is listed as Treasure Groves in the in-game Encyclopedia. However, a set location in Ginormosia, South Greatgut Plains, spawns them. This requires reaching Area Rank 5, where approximately three sets appear on the eastern side, northeast of Fan’ni Shrine. Crucially, Gloom Spiders only appear at night; ensure the time of day is set to night by resting at a campfire or inn.
4. Merchant in Ginormosia: The wandering merchant in Ginormosia may occasionally stock Pink Silk Thread. However, this is also random and not a reliable method for gathering the material.
