You will need Magma Ore to craft Magma Ingots, a late-game material used to craft a variety of recipes. Magma Ingots are required for 5-star armors like the Pegasus and Inferno sets, as well as 4-star shields, Life Tools, and weapons. You may need over twenty ingots, meaning 60+ Magma Ore is a possibility for top-tier gear.

While you might find some Magma Ore as rewards or through luck in the Treasure Grove, targeted farming is more efficient. Magma Ore can be found in Red Ore deposits and as drops from Fortoise enemies.

Magma Ore Locations

Red Ore deposits, which can yield Magma Ore, are found in the Depths - B2 and on the volcanic northern half of the Moltana Wastes region of Ginormosia.

Red Ore Deposits

Finding Red Ore deposits is a primary method for obtaining Magma Ore. These deposits are located in the Depths - B2 and the volcanic northern reaches of the Moltana Wastes in Ginormosia.

Fortoise Farming

Alternatively, you can farm Fortoise enemies, which are lava turtles. These enemies also spawn in the volcanic northern reaches of the Moltana Wastes. However, Fortoises only appear once Googlisha’s Tower has reached Area Rank 3 or higher.

The Moltana Wastes is the most effective area for farming Magma Ore due to the combination of Red Ore deposits and Fortoise enemies.

Forging Magma Ingots

Even at Area Rank 1, Red Ore deposits in the Moltana Wastes are around Lv30+. To spawn Fortoises, you need to raise the Area Rank to 3+, which will increase the level of enemies and deposits to approximately 45~. Magma Ore is not easily obtained at low levels.

Furthermore, you must rank up the Blacksmith Life to unlock the recipe for Magma Ingots. This recipe requires a Blacksmithing ability score of 460. Proficiency in Miner and Blacksmith Lives is essential for crafting Magma Ingots.
