Welcome to Mt Gagazet! When you first arrive, you'll run into Kimahri, who was one of Yuna's guardians back in Final Fantasy X. He's loyal as ever, and during the scene, you'll have a chance to tell him you'll handle Lian and Ayde. This is a pretty important moment, so pay attention!

After the scene, you'll want to chat with everyone around, including Kimahri again. The dialogue choices you make here matter for later in the game. Specifically, picking the right responses can set you up for a special Dressphere in Chapter 3, influence a boss fight in Chapter 3, and even get you something nice from the Ronsos in Chapter 5. Here are the key dialogue options you should select:

• “I can imagine how you must feel…”
• “You have to learn to deal with these things!”
• “Leave it to the Gullwings!”
• “I’m sure you’re right.”
• “I will never forget their sacrifice.”
• “I wouldn’t forgive them either.”
• “A change for the better, I hope.” (Heads up: this specific Ronso is actually on the mountain trail itself. If you've already been to the Scar of the Fayth, you can warp close to him there to make things easier.)

Once you've sorted out the conversations, you can head along the mountain path if you're looking to gain some extra EXP and AP. If you're in a hurry or just want to move on, there's a teleporter conveniently located behind Kimahri. This teleporter can whisk you away to various other locations. Since there's no treasure to be found in this immediate area, feel free to continue your journey whenever you're ready.

Important Note: Answering these dialogue scenarios correctly is key if you want to snag that special Dressphere and achieve 100% completion in the game.
