Conquer the challenging Lost Bloodlines 3 DLC map in Fire Emblem: Awakening. This guide details strategies to defeat King Marth and his 50 enemies, recruit Seliph, and overcome the final Bloodlines mission.
Walkthrough
- 1Turn 1: Recombine your northern and central forces. Move central units north and northern units east to bait north-eastern enemies carefully.
- 2Turn 2: Continue baiting north-eastern enemies with the northern regiment. March central units north. If you have a strong unit, position them to bait Lewyn.
- 3Turn 3: Bait remaining north-eastern foes. Begin moving units not used for baiting towards the central woods to prepare for western and southern enemies.
- 4Turn 4: Mop up the north-eastern side. Position sturdy units in the central woods to brace for flying enemies and attacks from all sides. South-eastern enemies will start moving.
- 5Turn 5: Concentrate forces in the central woods, using the terrain and central village for cover and to block enemy movement. Wait for enemies to approach. All remaining enemy units will begin moving by their 5th turn.
- 6Turn 6: You will face enemies from two sides. Concentrate efforts on either the western or south-eastern group (preferably the latter). Leave a strong unit in the central woods above the village to distract the other group. Keep other units in the woods for cover.
- 7Turn 7: Begin engaging the concentrated enemy force. If space allows, pull out the unit that was distracting the other group.
- 8Turn 8: Prepare to face the other enemy force. If needed, move your forces north to draw enemies through the woods, slowing them down. Otherwise, fight through the woods, keeping units close together.
- 9Endgame: Carefully reduce enemy numbers while prioritizing unit safety. The boss is King Marth.
Tips
- If your army is outnumbered, deploy previously recruited units like Leif and Alm.
- Consider the Chrom and Avatar strategy: deploy only these two, have them pair up, and advance towards a fort or castle to outlast the enemy.
- Recombine your forces as soon as possible, as they start split into two groups.
- Bait enemies slowly and carefully, as some are strong.
- Don't panic about the large enemy count; you have time early on.
- Use the central woods for cover and the central village to block enemy movement from Turn 5 onwards.
- Keep units close together when fighting through the woods to prevent focus fire.
- King Marth is the boss; you have fought him before in Lost Bloodlines 2.
- Recruit Seliph (Swordmaster, Level 2) at the end of the mission.
- King Marth drops the Exalted Falchion.
