Your Fire Emblem Heroes walkthrough for Chapter 15: Talons Alight. Learn how to defend the throne, defeat Sealen, and grab all the loot!

Alright, welcome to Chapter 15: Talons Alight! This is a Hector Mode exclusive chapter, and it's all about holding down the fort. Your main objective is to defend the throne for 7 turns. No new characters join us this time, but we do have a boss to deal with.

Boss Data:

  • Sealen - Nomad Lvl 15
  • Weapon: Longbow, Steel Bow
  • HP: 26
  • STR: 10
  • SKL: 9
  • SPD: 7
  • DEF: 7
  • RES: 6
  • LUC: 10
  • MOV: 7
  • CON: 7
  • Drops: Steel Bow/Longbow upon defeat.

Items to Grab:

  • Door Key (steal from a mercenary)
  • 2x Vulnerary (steal from mages)
  • Silver Axe (left chest in the southern room)
  • Mend staff (right chest in the southern room)

Strategy:

This is our first solo Hector chapter, and it's not too bad! The rewards are pretty interesting, so let's make sure we snag them. For your team, I'd recommend bringing Priscilla for healing and leaving Serra behind. Also, consider ditching Marcus, Bartre, and Dorcas – they can serve as your item carriers if you need them later, but for this fight, we want units that can contribute more directly. Place Oswin to the east; he's going to be our main tank because Sealen, the boss, likes to hang out on that side and will likely target him. Put Eliwood on the throne; honestly, he's not going to do much this chapter. Just below the throne, I suggest positioning Priscilla, Rebecca, and Guy. For the main frontline facing the enemies, put Lowen and Hector down there. Erk and Matthew should be positioned just behind them. Oswin can pretty much stay put and act as a wall, intercepting Sealen without leaving the eastern entrance exposed. Priscilla will be your primary healer, hopefully, she's got Serra's Heal staff. Lowen and Hector are your heavy hitters for the main enemy force, with Guy and Rebecca providing some backup. Erk is great for blasting those pesky knights away, as Hector is one of the few who can deal significant damage to them. Once the immediate threats are dealt with, Matthew can make a move for those chests in the southern room. Overall, this chapter isn't super difficult, but you absolutely need to watch out for Sealen. His Longbow has a massive range, and he can snipe your units from across the map if you're not careful!
