Hey there! So, we're diving into Part 116 of our Chinatown Wars adventure. Today, we're looking at a place called Minoan Unisex. Now, this is a bit of a curveball because while it's a location in Grand Theft Auto IV and Episodes from Liberty City, it's actually *not* in Chinatown Wars. Kind of a bummer, I know! Where is it (in other GTA games)? In GTA IV and Episodes from Liberty City, you'd find Minoan Unisex in Algonquin, specifically on Exeter Avenue in East Holland. It's right under the awning of a place called Movie Pit. The shop's name and its sign, featuring a Minoan snake goddess figurine, are nods to ancient Minoan civilization. Pretty cool detail, but unfortunately, it doesn't play any part in the story and you can't actually go inside. Why it matters for us: Since it's absent from Chinatown Wars, there's no mission or gameplay related to Minoan Unisex for us to tackle. We're focusing on Huang Lee's journey, and this particular spot isn't on his map. Real-world inspiration: Interestingly, the storefront in the other games was inspired by a real barber shop called "Azteca Unisex" located at 234 E 116th St, in East Harlem, Manhattan.
