Walkthrough:

Before attempting Knife Flights, it's recommended to practice rolling maneuvers with your plane. You can find Mammatus planes at Sandy Shores Airfield, Dusters around McKenzie Airfield in Grapeseed, or purchase a Mallard for $250,000 from www.elitastravel.com (requires enough Hidden Packages and a hangar, best suited for Trevor).

To prepare, you can scout the Knife Flight locations and mark them on your map using Points of Interest markers. Remember, you only have ten markers available.

Before each attempt, perform a Quick Save to easily retry if you fail.

Knife Flights:

  1. KF-1: Von Crastenburg Hotel towers, Playa Vista (Pacific Bluffs, Map A-3). Approach from either direction.
  2. KF-2: Between Lombank Building and Crastenburg Hotel, west end of Boulevard Del Perro.
  3. KF-3: Between Bluff Tower Office Complex and an un-named office building south of it, Del Perro (Map B-3). You must do KF-2 and KF-3 together. Approach from the north along W. Eclipse Blvd. Roll left before The Banner Hotel and pull up after the first gap to clear the second.
  4. KF-4: Between a parking garage and an apartment building, west end of The Archipelago, east of Morningwood Blvd. and Marathon Ave. (Rockford Hills, Map B-3). This is a difficult gap. Approach from the north, angle down over the large building, level out quickly, roll through the gap, and level off immediately after.
  5. KF-5: Between Richards Majestic Building and Weazel Plaza Building, intersection of Heritage Way and Movie Star Way (Rockford Hills, Map B-3). Approach from either west or east.
  6. KF-6: Between the Schlongsberg Sachs Building and a tall un-named building.
Tips
  • Practice rolling with your plane before attempting Knife Flights.
  • Mark potential Knife Flight locations on your map beforehand.
  • Use Quick Save before each attempt to easily retry.
  • For KF-3, approach from the north and be prepared to adjust after the first gap.
  • For KF-4, an alternative approach from the north over the adjacent building is suggested, requiring immediate adjustment after the gap.
