This section covers challenges related to Shotguns and Light Machine Guns in Grand Theft Auto VI. Success in these challenges often relies on weapon choice, aiming for groups of targets, and maintaining a score multiplier.

Shotgun Challenges:

1. Challenge 2: Destroy twelve moving and static Targets in forty-five seconds. The Sawed-Off Shotgun is recommended for its wide spread. Aim at an angle to hit multiple targets. Wait for targets to get close together before firing for Gold. Bronze: 290, Silver: 590, Gold: 700.
2. Challenge 3: Destroy twenty moving Targets in thirty seconds. Similar to Challenge 1, hitting multiple targets at once is key. The Sawed-Off Shotgun is again recommended. Wait for Targets to cluster before firing for Gold. Bronze: 14, Silver: 18, Gold: 23.

Light Machine Gun Challenges:

Note: Hitting Targets increases your score multiplier up to three times. You get one free miss with automatic weapons.

1. Challenge 1: Score as many points as possible in thirty-three seconds by destroying multiple static Targets that require multiple hits and disappear over time. A short, controlled burst is best to avoid losing your multiplier. Let go of the trigger when a Target starts to move away. Bronze: 4,500, Silver: 5,500, Gold: 7,500.
2. Challenge 2: Score as many points as possible in sixty-four seconds by destroying a row of static Targets that turn around individually and automatically. Use the MG to pass this challenge and unlock the Combat MG, which is more accurate and essential for Gold. Learn the target patterns and stop shooting to maintain your multiplier. Bronze: 5,500, Silver: 12,000, Gold: 40,000.
3. Challenge 3: Score as many points as possible in seventy-four seconds by destroying multiple static Targets that require multiple hits and spawn more as you destroy them. The Combat MG is best due to its accuracy. Use short, controlled bursts and know when to stop shooting to maintain your multiplier. Bronze: 7,500, Silver: 19,000, Gold: 32,000.
