    Ground Vehicle Controls: Use the Left Analog Stick to move, Right Analog Stick to aim (when shooting or throwing), Left Trigger (Xbox 360) or L2 Button (PlayStation 3) to handbrake, and D-Pad Up to answer calls on your Cell Phone. D-Pad Right can turn on/off sirens on Police and emergency vehicles. D-Pad Down brings up your character's Stats. Hold D-Pad Left to bring up the Radio Station Wheel, or tap it to move clockwise through Stations. The Back Button (Xbox 360) or Select Button (PlayStation 3) changes the camera mode. The Start Button (Xbox 360) or Start Button (PlayStation 3) pauses the game.

    Helicopter and Plane Controls: Use the Left Analog Stick to move around and the Right Analog Stick to rotate the camera. Press the Left Stick Button (Xbox 360) or L3 Button (PlayStation 3) for Sneak Mode. Press the Right Stick Button (Xbox 360) or R3 Button (PlayStation 3) to look behind. Use the A Button (Xbox 360) or X Button (PlayStation 3) to fire weapons and the X Button (Xbox 360) or Square Button (PlayStation 3) to switch weapons. The B Button (Xbox 360) or Circle Button (PlayStation 3) activates the Cinematic Camera or hangs up the Cell Phone. Press Y Button (Xbox 360) or Triangle Button (PlayStation 3) to enter or exit aircraft. Use Left Trigger (Xbox 360) or L2 Button (PlayStation 3) to go down and Right Trigger (Xbox 360) or R2 Button (PlayStation 3) to go up. Use Left Bumper (Xbox 360) or L1 Button (PlayStation 3) for the left rudder and Right Bumper (Xbox 360) or R1 Button (PlayStation 3) for the right rudder. D-Pad Up is used to use the Cell Phone. D-Pad Down brings up your character's Stats. Hold D-Pad Left to bring up the Radio Station Wheel, or tap it to move clockwise through Stations (only in some aircraft).     Other Transportation: Hail a Taxi by using D-Pad Right when close on foot. Enter as a passenger using the Enter Vehicle button. Select destinations with icons on the map, choose to hurry the ride, skip to the end, or enjoy the experience. Use the extensive train system by entering a train when it stops at a station. You will automatically sit and then get up when the train stops again, allowing you to walk out.

    Game Menus: Access menus by pressing the Start Button (Xbox 360) or Start Button (PlayStation 3). The Map shows your position, mission strands, and notable places, and can be used to mark Points of Interest and create GPS trails. The Brief menu allows you to review prompts used in and outside of missions. The Stats menu lists statistics for everything you do.
