Jimmy Snuka

About a year after a previous encounter, Snuka faced Don Muraco at Madison Square Garden. Snuka's Superfly Leap connected with Muraco, exciting the crowd. Mick Foley, inspired by this move, began training to become a wrestler. Snuka left the WWF for the AWA in 1985 at the peak of his popularity. He returned to the WWF in 1989 and had the first match against the Undertaker at Wrestlemania VII in 1991, which he lost. Snuka departed the WWF in 1992 for ECW and continues to wrestle in independent promotions today. The WWF inducted him into the Hall of Fame in 1996.

Kerry von Erich (R.I.P.)

Kerry von Erich was a highly successful wrestler from the von Erich dynasty. He began in his father's WCCW as a tag partner to his brother Kevin, winning tag titles 4 times. He also secured the WCCW Heavyweight Championship 3 times between the late 1970s and early 1980s. Joining the NWA, he won the NWA World Six-Man Championship 8 times and defeated Ric Flair for the NWA World Championship. As WCCW began to fold and Kerry battled depression and addiction, he joined the WWF as the Texas Tornado. He defeated Mr. Perfect for the WWF Intercontinental Championship at Summerslam 1990, holding it for 3 months. While with the WWF, he was arrested and given 10 years probation for forging a prescription. Following a second drug-related arrest that could have led to prison, he returned to Denton, Texas, and died by suicide at age 33.

Kevin von Erich

Born in the late 1950s, Kevin von Erich was Fritz's second son. The death of his older brother Jack Jr. motivated him to excel. He debuted as a high-flyer in 1976, winning the American Heavyweight title, the NWA Tag Team title with his brother David, the Missouri Heavyweight Championship, and the NWA World Tag Team belt with David within his first 5 years. Despite a difficult period for the von Erich family in the mid-1980s, Kevin continued wrestling before retiring. He currently lives a quiet life with his family and is the last surviving member of the original von Erich dynasty.

Killer Kowalski

Killer Kowalski was known for his mean and vicious heel persona. He won his first title in 1950 and subsequently won titles across the United States and Canada. He was a highly hated wrestler, known for delivering brutal beatings. After dominating the ring for 30 years, he retired to train future wrestlers. Fifty years after his debut, Kowalski remains a significant figure in wrestling.
