Alright, so you're pulsing through space and suddenly get a ping to check something out? That's likely a Derelict Freighter! Don't just ignore it – these wrecks can be super rewarding. When you drop out of pulse, you'll see the broken bits of a massive capital ship. It might look a bit confusing at first, but just fly around it until you spot one of the four landing pads. Set yourself down and get ready to explore.

Once you've landed, the main goal is to find the airlock terminal. The freighter is sealed tight, so interacting with this terminal is your ticket inside. After that, you're free to start poking around the icy corridors and rooms. Keep an eye out for containers you can open – they're full of goodies! You'll also find heaters scattered around; activate these to help combat the extreme cold outside. Seriously, make sure your Exosuit's life support is topped up before you go too deep, because there's no Sodium out here in the void to recharge with.

Be warned, these ships aren't always empty. You might run into some nasty enemies lurking in the dark, zero-gravity environments. It can get pretty intense, so stay sharp! But the payoff for braving the dangers is totally worth it. Expect to find hundreds of nanites, a Cargo Bulkhead to expand your own ship's inventory, or even valuable upgrades for your fleet. Some of these wrecks can even contain scrap worth millions!

Just a heads-up: you can't save your game while you're inside a Derelict Freighter, and they can be pretty dangerous. So, if you stumble upon one, definitely take the chance to investigate, but tread carefully!
