Learn how to get blueprints for all six Exocraft in No Man's Sky, including the Roamer, Nomad, Colossus, and Minotaur. Discover how to summon them and their unique uses.

There are six main Exocraft available in No Man’s Sky: the Roamer, Nomad, Pilgrim, Colossus, Minotaur, and Nautilon. The easiest way to acquire their blueprints is from the Transport Modules menu in the Construction Research Station on board the Space Anomaly. You will need to progress through the main story to access the Anomaly.

The Roamer Geobay is the first blueprint available, costing 4 Salvaged Data. Other blueprints and their costs are detailed below:

Constructing Exocraft Summoning Stations

To summon Exocraft, you need the blueprint for an Exocraft Summoning Station. This structure can be built on any planet and allows summoning within that system. The blueprint is available after purchasing the Roamer blueprint and costs 12 Salvaged Data. You must first construct a Geobay for each Exocraft you wish to summon.

To summon Exocraft in different systems, you must build a new Summoning Station there or dismantle and rebuild the existing one. Having a functional station allows summoning any available Exocraft on any planet within the system.

Constructing the Orbital Exocraft Materialiser

If you own a Freighter, you can build the Orbital Exocraft Materialiser. Its blueprint is also found on the Space Anomaly's Construction Research Station for 15 Salvaged Data. Once built on your Freighter, you can summon Exocraft on any planet in any system where the Freighter is present. It's advisable to summon your Freighter to a new system before landing on a planet.

How to Use Exocraft

Exocraft share similar functionalities but excel in different environments. The Roamer is suitable for most terrains and can operate underwater, though slower. Upgrades like the Acceleration Module can improve underwater speed in bursts. Exiting water can be difficult without gentle slopes.

The Roamer can be upgraded with scanner modules (Exocraft Signal Booster, Advanced Signal Booster, Exocraft Signal Booster Upgrade) to enhance scanning range and detect specific buildings like Trade Outposts, Depots, Drop Pods, Abandoned Structures, Ruins, and Alien Structures over vast distances.

Additionally, the Roamer can be equipped with a mounted cannon and mining laser, making it useful for resource gathering and combat. Hazard protection units for extreme environments can also be added, though this reduces inventory space.
