• Speed: Hantu's speed is directly affected by the ambient temperature. It moves faster in warmer areas and slower in colder areas.
• Weakness: Hantu is significantly slowed down in cold temperatures, making it easier to escape or trap during hunts.

Phases:

1. Investigation Phase: The Hantu will roam the map, leaving behind evidence such as D.O.T.S., Freezing Temperatures, and Ghost Orbs. Use your equipment to gather this evidence.
2. Hunt Phase: During a hunt, the Hantu will chase players. Its speed will vary depending on the temperature of the room it is in.

Strategy:

• Utilize Cold: The Hantu's primary weakness is its reduced speed in cold environments. Lure it into rooms with freezing temperatures to slow it down, making it easier to evade or trap.
• Temperature Monitoring: Use thermometers to track temperature fluctuations. Pay attention to areas that become significantly colder, as this is where the Hantu will be slowest.
• Evidence Gathering: Look for D.O.T.S. projections, Freezing Temperatures (indicated by visible breath and thermometer readings below 0°C), and Ghost Orbs.
• Sanity Management: Like all ghosts, maintaining your sanity is crucial to prevent hunts. Use sanity medication when necessary.
• Crucifixes and Incense: These items can provide temporary protection during hunts, especially if you can lure the Hantu into a cold area before using them.
• Avoid Warmth: Be cautious in warmer areas of the map, as the Hantu will be much faster and more dangerous.
