How to Beat Phantom

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Invisibility: Can become completely invisible, making it hard to track.
• Sanity Drain: Its presence causes a significant drop in player sanity.
• Vulnerability: Crucifixes and Incense are effective at deterring or stopping hunts.
• Detection: EMF readers can detect its activity, and Spirit Boxes can be used to communicate with it.

Phases:

1. Initial Phase: The Phantom will roam the map, occasionally becoming invisible. Players may experience sanity drain during this phase.
2. Hunting Phase: The Phantom will initiate a hunt, becoming more aggressive and attempting to kill players. Its invisibility makes it particularly dangerous during hunts.
3. Evidence Gathering: Players should use equipment like the EMF reader, Spirit Box, and Ghost Writing Book to gather evidence. The D.O.T.S. projector may also reveal its presence when it flickers into visibility.

Strategy:

• Use Crucifixes: Place crucifixes in areas the Phantom frequents to prevent hunts.
• Utilize Incense: Burn incense to temporarily stop hunts or blind the ghost if caught during one.
• Monitor Sanity: Keep an eye on your sanity levels and use Sanity Medication when necessary, as the Phantom drains sanity quickly.
• Teamwork: Coordinate with your team to cover different areas and share information about the ghost's location and behavior.
• Listen Carefully: Pay attention to paranormal sounds, as the Phantom can be elusive visually.
