Hey there! Ready to make your mark in Toca Life: World? The Character Creator is your go-to spot for bringing your unique characters to life. It's super intuitive, like picking out your favorite outfit in real life! ## Where to Find It You've got a few easy ways to jump into the Character Creator: 1. Map View: Just tap the blue button in the upper right corner of the screen when you're exploring different areas. 2. Characters Tab: Look for the same blue button, but this time it's on the bottom left of the screen after you've opened the Characters tab. 3. Creator's Campus: If you're checking out the Creator's Campus, you'll find a button right below any autoplaying videos. Once you're in the Characters Tab, you'll also see the Character Creator button appear at the bottom left, just under your current character. ## Creating Your Character When you first start, you'll get a base preset. Feeling adventurous? There's a button next to your current character that will whip up a random character for you – it's a fun way to get new ideas! The customization options are all laid out at the bottom of the screen. You can dive deeper into each category by tapping on them. You'll find sliders for colors, tons of hairstyles, and all sorts of clothing options. Keep in mind, whenever there's a new update, the Character Creator gets a refresh with new hairstyles, clothes, and facial features, pulling from characters all over Toca Life: World, even from places you might not have visited yet! Heads up! Before you exit, you'll see a reset button pop up. If you press and hold it, poof! Your current character is gone, leaving an empty slot. So, make sure you're happy with your creation before hitting that button! ## Navigating the Options Here's a quick rundown of what you can customize: * Height: Choose from tall, short, elderly, or toddler. * Skin Tone: Pick the perfect shade. * Prosthetics and Crutches: Add some extra detail. * Hair: * Short Hair, Long hair, Weird Hair – each with color options. * Beards and mustaches also come with color choices. * Eyes, Nose, Eyebrows, Mouth: Customize these features, with color options for eyes, nose, and eyebrows. * Face Markings: * Dimples, Blush, Wrinkles – all with color options. * Clothing: A huge variety including: * Casualwear (short-sleeved, long-sleeved, sweaters) * Formal wear * Dresses * Sportswear * Sleepwear * Costumes * Uniforms (which can vary by location) * Headwear: * Caps, long-brimmed hats, uniform hats, beanies. * Costume hats and fun hair accessories like tiaras and flower wreaths. * Baby headwear. * Eyewear: * Glasses, sunglasses, masks. * Other items like slime or face masks. * Headwear that covers hair, like hoodies or hijabs. * Helmets for various activities. Quick Tip on Colors: The categories are color-coded for easy navigation: * Yellow: For height, skin tone, and prosthetics. * Cyan: For hair, eyes, nose, eyebrows, and mouth. * Red: For clothing, headwear, and eyewear. Remember, you can mix and match prosthetics from both the left and right sides. Also, categories marked with a single asterisk (*) lead to subcategories, and those with a double asterisk () let you pick the exact color using a slider. ## Character Creator Upgrade For even more options, there's the Character Creator Upgrade** (formerly the Full Version). This paid upgrade unlocks a ton of extra customization choices, including many from characters found in paid locations outside of Bop City. It's a great way to expand your creative possibilities, even if you haven't bought those specific locations yet!
