Walkthrough:
- Begin by defining your character's personality using 9 points. Different traits influence dialogue and can unlock or block tasks, including 'Checks' for persuasion.
- Wake up and interact with Dr. Finck. Dialogue choices here don't immediately matter.
- Outside, you cannot interact with the woman at the vending machine due to 'Total Lack of Motivation'. Enter the motel reception.
- Attempt to get the receptionist Robin's attention. Passing a Social Check with 1 point in Extraverted allows you to get your room key card. Dialogue with Robin doesn't matter for now.
- Go to your room. Interacting with the suitcase may lead to sitting on the bed or chair depending on personality traits. Time will pass, and you'll receive a phone call; choices don't matter.
- Review your 'memories' by clicking icons.
- Experience a dream sequence; pay attention to its details for character insight.
- After the dream, an icon appears, but you cannot 'Hold to Recall' yet.
- Exit your room and witness a truck hitting a transformer.
- Achievement: Tap Out!: Go to your room's bathroom and drink from the tap.
- Interact with the vending machine downstairs and press the 'reddish button' for water. Drink it to lose the 'Thirsty' status.
- The sky turns red, and explosions occur. You'll wake up back in Dr. Finck's office and receive a Purple Pill.
- Repeat the process of getting your key card and checking into your room. Do not put the suitcase away. Take the purple pill (optional) and sit in the chair to pass time. The phone call choices remain inconsequential.
- Pass time until you review memories again. You will receive your first 'Intention'.
- Commit to the 'Memory or Fantasy?' Intention. You'll need to take the pill to lose 'Anxious Apprehension' and gain 'Inspiration' (Willpower) to commit.
- Go outside and investigate the transformer hit by the car. Select all dialogue options to complete the Intention. The sky will turn red, ending the loop.
- After talking to Dr. Finck, open memories, select the Intention, and 'Hold to Wrap Up' to gain 1 Inspiration.
- Outside Dr. Finck's office, an Intention to go home unlocks. Commit to it and interact with your car. You will fail to leave and return to Dr. Finck's office.
- A dialogue option tied to this intention will appear. Attempting to leave again triggers a Decisional Check. If you have Calculated +1, you regain control; otherwise, you lose control. You gain 2 Inspiration regardless.
- Fail the intention and unlock the achievement: The Escape Failed Successfully. Select the Intention again and 'Hold to Give up'.
- Free Roaming: Talk to the woman hitting the vending machine to gain the 'Fix Vending Machine' Intention. Commit to it.
- Speak to the woman again and select
