Walkthrough
  1. 1
Define your character's personality using 9 points. Different traits unlock different dialogue options and can pass 'Checks' for tasks like persuasion.
  2. 2
Wake up and talk to Dr. Finck. Choose any dialogue options.
  3. 3
Exit the motel and attempt to talk to the woman at the vending machine (you'll be unable to due to 'Total Lack of Motivation').
  4. 4
Enter the motel reception and talk to Robin. Passing a Social Check with 1 point in Extraverted allows you to get your room key. Choose any dialogue options with Robin.
  5. 5
Go to your room, interact with the suitcase (its interaction depends on personality traits), and sit down. Time will pass, and you'll receive a phone call (dialogue choice doesn't matter).
  6. 6
Review your 'memories' by clicking on each icon.
  7. 7
Experience a dream sequence. Read it carefully for character insight.
  8. 8
After the dream, an icon appears; you cannot 'Hold to Recall' yet.
  9. 9
Exit your room and witness a truck hitting a transformer.
  10. 10
Achievement: Tap Out! Go to your room's bathroom and drink from the tap.
  11. 11
Go downstairs and interact with the vending machine. Press the 'reddish button' to get water and drink it to lose the 'Thirsty' status.
  12. 12
The sky turns red, and you wake up in Dr. Finck's office. He gives you a Purple Pill.
  13. 13
Repeat the process: get your key card, go to your room, attempt to put away the suitcase (you won't be able to), take the pill (optional), sit on the chair, and wait for the phone call (dialogue choice doesn't matter).
  14. 14
Review your memories again to receive your first 'Intention': "Memory or Fantasy?".
  15. 15
You cannot commit to the Intention due to lack of Willpower. Take the pill to sleep, losing 'Anxious Apprehension' and gaining 'Inspiration' (Willpower).
  16. 16
Commit to the "Memory or Fantasy?" Intention and go outside. Investigate the transformer.
  17. 17
Select all dialogue options to complete the Intention. After talking to Dr. Finck, open memories, select the Intention, and 'Hold to Wrap Up' to gain 1 Inspiration.
  18. 18
Your character decides to go home, unlocking an 'Intention' to leave. Commit to it and interact with your car.
  19. 19
You will fail to leave and end up back in Dr. Finck's office. A dialogue option related to this intention will appear.
  20. 20
Attempting to leave again triggers a Decisional Check. If you have 'Calculated' +1, you regain control; otherwise, you lose control. You gain 2 Inspiration regardless.
  21. 21
Select the Intention again and 'Hold to Give up'.
  22. 22
Free Roaming: Talk to the woman hitting the vending machine to gain the 'Fix Vending Machine' Intention. Commit to it in your memories.
  23. 23
Speak to the woman again and select "Maybe I can help?". Try and fail to fix the machine, then select 'give up'.
  24. 24
Go to reception and speak to Robin. Select the vending machine-related dialogue option to learn how to fix it.
  25. 25
If the clock is 8:07 or less, give Riley a coffee to complete the Intention and earn 3 Inspiration. You learn her name is Riley.
  26. 26
Gain memories: Robin's, Ben Fleming (Robin's father), Coral Destiny, and update Rocket Launch memory by asking Riley about it.
  27. 27
Wrap up the vending machine Intention in your memories.
  28. 28
Interact with the door left of your room on the second floor to gain the 'The Stocky Man' Memory.
  29. 29
Go to reception and speak to Robin about the time loop and Ben Fleming.
  30. 30
The 'Stocky Man' (Jason Burns) enters reception at 8:12. Speak to Robin afterwards to learn his name and backstory.
  31. 31
Driving South - Max Gas: Drive south to Max Gas. Interact with the camera to the left of the store to unlock the 'Reality Show' Intention.
  32. 32
Enter Max Gas. Talk to Max (and potentially Riley) to update/create memories: 'Careless Driver', 'Max Gas Lady', 'Where's Walter?'.
  33. 33
Talking to Max alone updates her memory to 'Maxine Kay'. Asking about Jason Burns updates Maxine's and Jason Burns' memories.
  34. 34
Interact with the Kitty Poster for 1 Inspiration.
  35. 35
Select Time Loop and Reality TV dialogue options to advance those Intentions.
  36. 36
Use your phone to ask the police about Walter Kay (limited immediate effect).
  37. 37
Use your phone to pass time and restart the loop. You need 5 Willpower/Inspiration to recall the dream icon.
  38. 38
Next Loop: In Dr. Finck's office, ask about Coral Destiny and select options related to the Reality Show Intention.
  39. 39
Go outside and give Riley a coffee again. Ask Riley about Co... (conversation cut off in source)
