Oakhaven Side Quests

Complete Oakhaven side quests in Rue Valley to earn gold and XP. Help Farmer Giles find Thomas, gather Glowcap Mushrooms for Elara, and clear out bandits.

The starting village of Oakhaven offers several introductory side quests that help you get acquainted with the game's mechanics and earn some early gold and experience.

• The Missing Farmer: Speak to Farmer Giles near the western gate. He asks you to find his missing son, Thomas, who ventured into the Whispering Woods. Thomas is found trapped by a group of Blighted Goblins in a small cave north of the main path. Rescue him and escort him back to Giles for a reward of 50 gold and 100 XP.
• A Herbalist's Request: Herbalist Elara, located near the central market, needs 5 'Glowcap Mushrooms' from the Whispering Woods. These mushrooms glow faintly and are found near damp areas. Collect them and return to Elara for 3 healing potions and 75 XP.
• Bandit Troubles: The Oakhaven Guard Captain, standing near the eastern gate, tasks you with clearing out a small bandit camp just outside the village. Defeat the 5 bandits and report back for 75 gold and 120 XP.

These quests are excellent for early-game progression and provide a good introduction to different quest types.
