Assault on Bodhi's Lair

Gathering Allies: Speak to Prelate Wessalen in the High Hall (Temple District) for Sir William Reirrac and paladins. If you sided with the Shadow Thieves, speak to Aran Linvail in the Shadow Thieves Guildhall (Docks District) for Arkanis Gath, Yachiko, and assassins.

The Graveyard Shift: Arrive in the Graveyard District at night. Bodhi will appear. If you have a romanced companion, Bodhi will transform them into a Vampire that you must destroy. Bodhi will also summon four other Vampires. Recover your dead companion's items if needed.

Bodhi's Lair Entrance: Proceed to the Entrance to the Lower Tombs in the west (previously locked, now open). Meet allies at the bottom of the stairs. Search the table for a Scroll of Symbol, Death and the locked chest for spare stakes and a scroll of Finger of Death.

Passage and Coffin Room: Move up the passage. Defeat two named Vampires, Del and Valen, and a Fledgling Vampire from the east coffin room. Use two stakes on the coffins in the coffin room for 18000XP.

Blood Pool Room: Go north to the Blood Pool room. Destroy two more named Vampires, Meredath and Salia, and two Fledglings. Pour Elven Holy Water into the blood pool.

Central Room and Inner Sanctum Entrance: Go east to the central room. Defeat Hareishan and six Vampires. Further in, defeat Tanova. Your Shadow Thief allies will join you. The door to the Inner Sanctum will open after Tanova is defeated.

Lower Passage: Before entering the Inner Sanctum, go through the lower passage. Destroy any Vampires and the Guardian (a spellcasting Vampire). Continue into the Spike Room and kill the roaming Vampiric Mists. Search the middle platform for the Gauntlets of Weapon Expertise.

Inner Sanctum Confrontation: Return and take the stairs to the Inner Sanctum. Arkanis may disarm the first trap in the passageway. Confront Bodhi. Interact with one of the pools to pour Holy Water in, weakening vampires. Destroy Bodhi, other Vampires, your undead romantic interest (if applicable), and Grimwarders. You will earn 91000XP.

Bodhi's Coffin: Gather your romanced companion's body if you were forced to kill them. In the top left room, remove the trap from the container holding three books about vampirism. Take the 'Vampiricus Omnibus' which suggests speaking to the Oghma monk in the Docks District about reversing vampirism. Follow Bodhi into the top right room. Loot her coffin for the Cutthroat +4 short sword and scrolls of Symbol, Fear, and Abi-Dalzim's Horrid Wilting. Drive a stake through Bodhi's coffin to end her. Each party member earns 55000XP. Acquire the Rhynn Lanthorn and Bodhi's Black Heart.

Exiting: Imoen will be restored. You can stake another Vampire in the Coffin Room on your way out. Discard stakes and Elven Holy Water.

Restoring Your Lost Love: If your romantic interest was killed, go to the Temple of Oghma in the Docks District and speak to the Priest of Oghma. The priest will direct you to the Book Merchant in Imnesvale (Umar Hills). Listen to the merchant's ramblings to learn how to cure vampirism.

Temple Ruins Ritual: Travel to the Temple Ruins. Use the shortcut by the Shadow Altar if you completed the quest earlier. Make your way to the Letter Room in the eastern section. Spell AMAUNATOR on the floor tiles to cross safely. In the room on the left, place your beloved's body and Bodhi's Black Heart on the statue's outstretched arms. This restores them and earns approximately 150000XP.

Final Preparations: Before leaving Athkatla, ensure you have irreplaceable items like the Golden and Silver Pantaloons. If you explored Watcher's Keep, ensure you have the Vigil Stone and Ritual Scroll. Buy scrolls of Invisibility and Protection From Normal Weapons from Lady Yuth at the Adventurer's Mart if you don't have them.
