Learn the mechanics of the Eleth Mixer in Tales of Graces f Remastered. Discover how to increase capacity, unlock slots, and optimize item duplication for maximum efficiency.

The Eleth Mixer is a crucial mechanic in Tales of Graces f Remastered that allows you to create items and increase your Eleth Capacity and mixer slots. Importantly, items placed in the mixer are not consumed from your inventory, and you can even use items registered in the Collector's Book that you no longer possess. Registering as many items as possible into the Collector's Book is highly recommended.

Initially, you'll have 150 Eleth Capacity and three mixer slots. Eleth Capacity increases by having the mixer process food items, while additional item slots are unlocked as the mixer produces items during exploration. Balancing the need for more capacity with unlocking more slots is key. A good early strategy is to place one food item that triggers frequently and two items that are produced during exploration into the mixer.

Both food and item effects in the mixer are powered by hidden experience meters. To optimize item duplication, place items with higher duplication probabilities lower on the list. This prevents a higher-probability item from triggering and resetting the duplication counter for lower-probability items.

Food items in the Eleth Mixer trigger during or after battles. Each dish has specific activation requirements, such as a character's HP falling below a certain threshold.

Maxing Out the Eleth Mixer

To maximize the Eleth Mixer's potential, consistently keep one or two food items in the mixer that trigger every battle. This ensures a steady, albeit slow, increase in Eleth Capacity. Fried Rice is a good early option, triggering if a battle lasts longer than 10 seconds. The Crab Fried Rice, a dualized version, is even more effective. While most Curry items aid in battles, they don't significantly boost capacity. However, Chicken Curry is an exception due to its unique behavior (it doesn't revive from KO).

A highly effective combination involves Chicken Curry and Miso Stew (or Rice Omelette until Miso Stew is available). This pairing triggers when your Eleth Mixer's value is between the Miso Stew requirement and the Chicken Curry requirement (typically around 50%). Alongside these dishes, include the following books:

  • Book of Potential
  • Book of Satiation
  • Book of Growth
  • Book of Dissolution
  • Book of Frugality

Most of these books are acquired through the main story. The Book of Frugality is obtained by defeating the Rockgagong. To farm items or trigger specific effects, you can go to areas like Lhant Hill, use a Dark Bottle to increase enemy spawns, and engage in battles. Alternatively, you can use food items that trigger on specific combo hits, then initiate battles with enemies like the Rockgagong, achieve the required combos, and then escape.
