Strahtan Area: Optional Sidequests

Hey there! Ready to dive into some of the optional stuff in the Strahtan Area? There are a few cool sidequests here that can snag you some neat titles and even advance character stories. Let's break 'em down!

Sophie’s Homecoming? and Priceless Tools

First up, head south to the Residential District in Strahta. You'll want to chat with the maid who has a smiley face – this kicks off an event related to Sophie. After that, head further south to the next district and find Marian, another girl with a smiley face. Talking to her starts another event.

Once those are done, swing by the Inn and look for the Twenty Minutes skit. After that, check the Inn's Requests; you should see new ones pop up based on the events you just triggered.

For the maid event, you'll have a bit of a case of mistaken identity, so just go with it! Then, head back to the Inn for that skit.

Now, let's get that locket. Head into the Strahta Desert (West) and make your way towards the ruins. Keep an eye out for a star icon on your map, especially closer to the ruins side. Interacting with it will get you a Cherished Locket. Once you have it, you can either walk or warp back to Yu Liberte.

Take that Cherished Locket to the Inn Request in Yu Liberte. This will trigger a scene, and Sophie will earn her Lucky Girl title. Pretty neat!

Next, we're heading to Strahta Desert (East). Just past the Desert Banana tree, you'll spot a monster sporting a smiley face. Approach it for a fight to obtain the Polishing Tools. With these in hand, return to Yu Liberte and turn them in at the Inn Request. This will trigger another scene, Hubert will get his Steadfast Denier title, and you'll unlock the Burning Questions skit.

The Mysterious Power

Remember that guy you played Magic Carta with back in Sable Izolle? If you've been diligent about collecting zone cards and grabbing some from shops, you should now have enough cards to challenge him on Hard difficulty!

The good news is that many of the cards will feel familiar. However, the bad news is that with more cards available, the AI has more options and plays faster. While the game loads, try to quickly scan your cards to get a feel for what's available. I also suggest having your cursor hover over the buried cards as the opponent speaks. This way, you have a chance to spot the card image for the next one you need to play, since it's a gamble on which card will be revealed next.

• If you manage to win the Magic Carta match on Hard, you'll receive Pascal’s Nature’s Scarf, the Carta Shark title, and the A Winning Combination skit.
• But wait, there's more! If you win without the opponent managing to get a single card, Cheria will earn the Magical Bee title.

Finally, head into Oul Raye and check the star icon near the Stone of Truth. This will trigger a scene where you'll obtain the Investigation Report and Hubert's Keeper of Secrets title. You can then take this report to the Inn Request in Sable Izolle to complete that part of the questline.
