Alright, you've made it to the Humanoid Research Center in Chapter 7. This section features a boss fight that might look a bit intimidating at first, but trust me, it's more about understanding the mechanics than raw power. This boss is actually a manifestation of Sophie's memories, so think of it as a mental battleground.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Weak to A-Artes.
• Vulnerable after breaking the Nova barrier.
• Susceptible to combo locking.

Phases:

1. The boss will primarily use swipe attacks and a black aura attack. These are fairly slow and easy to guard against.
2. The main challenge is breaking the Nova barrier to open it up for significant damage.

Strategy:

• Character Focus: Definitely bring Hubert! Set him to A-Artes focus with an Aggressive behavior. His rapid-fire attacks are perfect for building up those long combos needed to deal massive damage. Malik is generally a better choice than Pascal for this fight.
• Combo Play: The key here is to keep the combo count high. Once you break the Nova barrier, unleash everything you've got. A-Artes are your best friend, especially Hubert's.
• Defense: Don't get too aggressive without guarding. The boss's swipe attacks are telegraphed and can be blocked effectively. Also, be mindful of its black aura attack and dodge or guard accordingly.
• The 60-Second Trophy: If you're aiming for the 'Lambda in 60 Seconds' trophy, you'll need to be aggressive from the start. Focus on chaining attacks and exploiting every opening. Don't let up!

After you've dealt with the boss, head out the south door. You'll find a save point there, which is a good spot to catch the The Reason Why skit if you haven't already. Once you're done, head back to the elevator. Take it down to B2 (via B3) and follow the path south to the lab. A scene will play out, and Sophie will gain her Pact Maker title. After that, you're free to make your way back to the surface and exit to Region 13. Good job, you're through this section!
