On the left side of this area, look for a sparkling point to get the Hourglass and Cat Pine Seeds. Then, head to the right side for the Magic Carta No. 40. If you check the sign near the merry-go-round, you'll find the Catnip discovery. Plus, talking to the lone human by the pond can give you hints about a secret spot.

Don't forget the actual Katz Korner shop itself, usually found in the northeast part of a map. They have their own shop and stamp system, so it's worth checking out. This is also where you can revisit any scenes or skits you've encountered, including ones you might have missed if you won a duel on your first try. There's usually an Inn there for requests, and you can find the Crazy Little Thing Called Love skit near the save point.

Here's a cool bit: after you've found enough Katz, you can get the Katz Dekoder. This lets you understand what the Katz are saying! The crazy cat owner will give it to you. Once you have that, you can head back to Lhant. Use R3 to enter shuttle mode, and then use the right analog stick to find the approximate location (X Axis: 332, Y Axis: -392). Hit L1, and you'll uncover the Cat-Crazy Coot’s House. Visiting this house will get you the Katz Dekoder, Katz Klothez, and Milk x3. Pretty neat, right?
