Act I: LIMBO

Guide to ULTRAKILL's 7-1: Garden of Forking Paths. Learn about Mannequins, the Minotaur boss, the Big Johninator secret encounter, and collectables in this Act III level.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Exit the elevator into a bright white courtyard with a marble walkway leading to a labyrinth entrance.
  2. 2
In the first room, the left doors close, and the right doors are locked, forcing you through the center path into a gallery with posing Mannequins. A red pedestal rises, requiring a Red Skull Key.
  3. 3
Return to the first room; the previously locked door is now open. Proceed through a narrow corridor, wall-jumping to a higher floor.
  4. 4
In the intersection room, press the button with the Alpha (α) symbol to unlock a door elsewhere.
  5. 5
Go back to the start of the labyrinth. The previously closed door is now open, leading to a room filled with stationary Mannequins. A kneeling Mannequin behind a gate holds the Red Skull Key. Take it.
  6. 6
Return to the Mannequin gallery room and place the Red Skull Key on the pedestal. Six Mannequins will break free and attack. Defeat them to proceed.
  7. 7
Descend the split staircase into a room where Mannequins ambush from below.
  8. 8
Continue through the level, navigating the labyrinth and underground tunnels, eventually reaching the Minotaur boss encounter.
  9. 9
Defeat the Minotaur to complete the level.
  10. 10
To access the secret encounter with Big Johninator, specific conditions must be met within the level (refer to the Secrets section for details).
Tips
  • Mannequins are fast and can climb walls/ceilings. They attack with swipes or by firing Hell Seekers. Hitting them while they cling to a wall stuns them temporarily. Sawblade traps are effective against them.
  • Homing projectiles are easier to parry due to their slower speed and tracking.
