ULTRAKILL's environments are littered with surfaces perfect for ricocheting your projectiles, a technique that can turn the tide of battle. Mastering ricochet shots allows you to hit enemies from unexpected angles, bypass cover, and even deal damage to multiple targets simultaneously. This is especially crucial in tight corridors or when facing enemies with strong frontal defenses.

The primary weapons that benefit from ricochet are the Revolver and the Shotgun. The Revolver's precise shots can be aimed at walls or floors to bounce into enemies. The Shotgun's spread, when fired at an angle, can create a wider area of impact through ricochets. The Malicious Railcannon, while not directly ricocheting, can be used to create explosive impacts that send shrapnel flying, effectively mimicking a ricochet effect.

Key to successful ricochet is understanding the angles of incidence and reflection. Aiming at a 45-degree angle on a flat surface will generally result in the projectile bouncing off at a similar angle. Experimentation is key; try bouncing shots off ceilings, floors, and even the edges of platforms. This is particularly effective against enemies positioned behind cover, allowing you to "curve" your shots around obstacles.

Ricochet is also a powerful tool for dealing with groups. By bouncing a shotgun blast off a wall, you can hit enemies on either side of the wall or those clustered behind cover. The Malicious Face's charged shot, when ricocheted, can create a devastating explosion that clears out entire rooms. Don't underestimate the power of a well-placed ricochet. It requires foresight and practice, but the ability to strike from anywhere makes you a far more unpredictable and dangerous opponent.
