Boss Fight: Pot Centipede

Strategy:

  1. Lock onto the Pot Centipede's head at the start.
  2. Pot Spiders will emerge to join the Pot Centipede. Use Blizzard to blast them as they try to join, limiting their numbers.
  3. If you have Stun Impact or Ripple Wave, use them to prevent Pot Spiders from joining.
  4. Cast Aero on Sora to reduce damage taken.
  5. Focus attacks on the Head or Tail, whichever is not currently attacking. They switch attack patterns.
  6. If a Pot Centipede half is cornered, focus attacks to end the fight quickly.
  7. Use "Call for Help" to involve Donald and Goofy if a half is pinned.

Encounter: Fat Bandit

  • HP: 240
  • Experience: 20
  • Drop: Blaze Gem (8%), Hi-Potion (4%), Firaga Ring (1%)
  • Abilities: Breathes fire, quick strikes, shoots fiery balls.
  • Strategy: Bat fireballs back to stun the Fat Bandit. If you have Gravity, use it as they are vulnerable when flattened.

Encounter: Pot Scorpion

  • HP: 200
  • Experience: 20
  • Drop: Mythril Stone
  • Location: Palace Gates of Agrabah, after defeating the Pot Centipede.
  • Strategy: There are 12 pots, one of which is the Pot Scorpion. Walk into pots; if they move, break them. If they don't move, it's the Pot Scorpion. Break the 11 normal pots first. To damage the Pot Scorpion, Guard right as it charges to claw you, which stuns it briefly.

  • Be on the lookout for Heartless and Pot Spiders.
  • When returning to the Plaza Gates after defeating the Pot Centipede, the Pot Scorpion may spawn.
  • It's hard to fight Fat Bandits in Agrabah's close quarters.
