Guide to Part 88 of Wild Hearts, featuring boss battles against Riku and Darkside, strategies, and rewards including the Destiny Islands World Card and Oathkeeper.
As you head to the 11F Exit Hall, you'll meet Riku once more.
BOSS: Riku
- HP: 1350
- Attack: 10
- Drop: Mega-Potion
- Experience: 5700
- Resistances: Phys x1.0, Fire x0.5, Bliz x0.5, Thun x0.5, Neut x1.0
Riku isn't much tougher this go around than the previous time. He still has the Helm Split sleight and adds Dark Firaga to his arsenal. He's still hard but with your increased levels and new cards, he should be easier than your previous fights. Use Jafar and Cures, Mega-Ether, and Oogie Boogie if you need. Focus on breaking Riku's cards and you'll have a much simpler fight since you can negate all the annoying attacks he has. Like all fights, you can simply use a Sonic Blade deck to melt through Riku and win easily.
After the battle, you'll receive the [DESTINY ISLANDS] World Card. Donald and Goofy will leave as Friends, so you'll be going alone through the next world.
12F - Destiny Islands
You'll need plenty of cards to get through this area, especially to enter the Room of Rewards. Destiny Islands is pretty small compared to other worlds, though, so you might need to recreate rooms if you can get the right stuff. You get the [KEY OF BEGINNINGS] after the opening scene. This is another great spot to level up if you feel weak, so take your time through this world. If you can, try to get into the Room of Rewards for the [MEGALIXIR] (and [TWO BECOME ONE] if you've completed 358/2 Days) since it's really handy.
In the Room of Beginnings, you'll acquire the [KEY OF GUIDANCE]. Navigate to the end of the world and enter the Room of Guidance where you'll find the Darkside waiting.
BOSS: Darkside
- HP: 1920
- Attack: 26
- Drop: Darkside Enemy Card
- Experience: 5558
- Resistances: Phys x1.0, Fire x0.5, Bliz x0.5, Thun x0.5, Neut x0.5
Darkside is one of the few bosses in the game where you'll want to avoid the use of sleights. Use a bunch of high-level cards so you can break all of Darkside's attacks. The ones that can cause some trouble are when he fires balls of darkness from his chest and when he breaks a ball of darkness to rain it down upon you. These are easy to break since they aren't sleights, so focus on breaking these and jumping over his slam attacks. The Gimmick Card in this fight will create pillars for you to reach Darkside's head, making it easy to get a lot of hits off.
After the battle, you receive the [OATHKEEPER]. Be sure to save in the Conqueror's Respite because Riku is waiting for you again.
