11. Serranilla

Alright, so you've decided to take on the Serranilla Fort in Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. This one can be a bit of a pain, mostly because the weather around it is usually pretty crummy – think fog and mist, making it tough to judge your distance from the shore. Plus, there are a bunch of enemy frigates hanging around that will definitely try to mess with you if you start attacking the fort. My advice? Either lure those frigates away for a separate fight, or even better, kite them back towards the fort and let its cannons soften them up before you even think about the fort itself. Once you're ready, dock your ship in the designated spot.

You'll need to take out 3 officers and deal with 7 defenses: 3 cannon walls, 4 towers, and mortars from above. When you land, follow the path and look for some rubble between two burning sections of wall. Climb up that, then drop down and hug the right side. You'll find your first officer chilling there. Take him out, along with any other enemies who decide to be a nuisance.

Next, head up the stairs nearby and take a left at the top. Follow the path along the base of the wall to your right. Keep going, and you should spot the second officer. Deal with him, then find the small ramp that leads up to the upper level. Up there, grab the stairs on the left. At the top, you'll find the last officer. Get rid of him.

With all three officers down, look for the door marked with a green objective marker on the central tier of the fort. Head inside, take out the lone enemy, and boom – the fort is yours!
