04. Petite Caverne

Follow this walkthrough to find all chests, Animus Fragments, and a treasure map in the Petite Caverne smuggler's den in Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.

Alright, let's tackle the Petite Caverne smuggler's den. You'll want to park your ship outside and head into the cave. Once inside, stick to the left-hand wall; it'll lead you to some platforms you need to cross.

Keep an eye out for a Gunner on an upper platform ahead and to your left. Make your way over there and climb up. As you're climbing, be sure to snag the Animus Fragment – don't miss it!

After grabbing the fragment, drop down from the platform. You'll find yourself in the main camp area with four guards practicing their shooting. Take them out, and then look for a chest inside a tent nearby. Once you've looted that, climb onto the fence behind where the guards were. From here, you can perform an air assassination on the guy chilling by the campfire below. After that, cross the bridge and take out the guard waiting around the corner to your left with a sprint assassination. There's another chest to loot here, so grab it.

You'll see a cadaver on a platform on the far west side. This cadaver has a treasure map on them, which is located at coordinates (70, 405) in Tulum. Just east of where you found this map, there's a third treasure chest. From this chest, look directly north – you should spot an Animus Fragment on a small wooden deck. Go grab it!

Now, it's time to get wet. Dive into the water and swim around to the back of the ship, heading north. You'll find a rowboat there. Just to the west of the rowboat, tucked away in an alcove in the wall, is the final chest. Once you've got everything, hop into the rowboat to head back to the Jackdaw.
