NPC Quests, Part 1

Before acquiring the Red Jeweled Brooch from the rooftop in Tomb of Oedon, decide the fate of Viola's Daughter.

Open the gate at the top of the steps and proceed to a library containing a note and the Blood Gem Workshop Tool. Continue to Cathedral Ward's chapel.

Speak with the Oedon Chapel Dweller to learn about sending NPCs to the chapel for safety. Light the lamp and return to the 1st Floor Sickroom.

Collect the Workshop Tool, which allows you to add Blood Gems to your weapons.

Head up the stairs in the 1st Floor Sickroom to speak with Iosefka. She will inform you that you can also send people to her location.

Travel to Central Yharnam on foot or via the Hunter's Dream.

Speak with Gilbert at the window near the lamp to receive the Flamesprayer.

Proceed through the shortcut, entering a dark house with caged Rabid Dogs. Across the bridge, speak with the Lonely Old Dear.

You can choose to send the Lonely Old Dear to either Iosefka’s Clinic or the Oedon Chapel. Sending her to Oedon Chapel allows for later item retrieval, while sending her to Iosefka’s Clinic results in an immediate reward from Iosefka if you return to the 1st Floor Sickroom door.

Return to the lamp and warp to the Tomb of Oedon. Re-enter Central Yharnam.

From the Tomb of Oedon, descend the stairs, then go down the ladder next to the Huntsman’s Minion wielding a boulder. Enter the tunnel and defeat the Maneater Boar.
