Lie on the Couch & Melee the Paint Can: Tern's next task is simple: lie down on the couch. Just stand on it until the objective updates. Once that's done, move over to the corner of the room. You'll see a paint can – give it a good melee strike! Then, turn around and melee the wall once to finish this part.

Talk to Tern & Open the Red Chest: With your impromptu wall art complete, go back and chat with Tern. He'll then ask you to open the big Red Chest in the room. Doing this not only progresses the mission but also counts towards your Full Area Coverage for Desolation's Edge.

The Big Choice: Kill Tern or Not?: After you open the chest and Tern has a few more things to say, you'll be faced with a choice: you can either kill Tern, or let him do his thing. If you want to get a memory core from him, you'll need to act fast and kill him. Then, just grab the memory core he drops from the ground.

Give the Core to Sparrow: Once you've got the memory core, it's time to head back to Sparrow. Hand over the core to him, and boom! Mission complete.

Tips

The optional objective involves deciding whether to kill Tern or not. If you choose to kill him, make sure you're quick about it right after he finishes talking so you can grab the memory core.
Don't forget that opening the Red Chest contributes to your area completion, so make sure you do it!
