Maliwannabees

Follow our step-by-step walkthrough for the Borderlands 3 Maliwannabees side mission. Learn where to go, who to fight, and how to get back to Ziff for your reward.

Alright, so you've picked up the 'Maliwannabees' side mission from Ziff. First things first, you need to head over to the murder scene. Just follow the waypoint on your map, and you'll find some bodies chilling near a pillar. After you've had a look and listened to Ziff's chat, your next stop is the supply vehicle. Keep an eye out for that abandoned, burning truck in the distance.

Once you've checked out the supply truck, it's time to deal with Rax and Max. Head to the new waypoint. You'll find a lift waiting to take you up. Hop in, and once you're at the top, clear out any enemies standing between you and the back of the area where Rax and Max are hanging out.

These two aren't exactly raid bosses, but they can put a dent in your health, especially if you're playing solo. My advice? Stick to cover and try to take them down one at a time. Trying to juggle both of them at once is a recipe for disaster.

After you've dealt with Rax and Max, and if you managed to complete the optional objective (nice one!), it's time to head back to where you started. Find Ziff and chat with them to wrap up the mission.
