Follow the blood trail, collect explosives, and launch a minecart to complete the Wildlife Conservation side mission in Borderlands 3. Get tips and strategies here!
Alright, let's get this Wildlife Conservation mission done in Borderlands 3! It's a bit of a trek, but we'll get through it together. First things first, head to the waypoint on your map and dive into that tunnel.
Walkthrough
- 1Follow the Blood Trail: Once you're in the tunnel, keep your eyes peeled for a blood trail on the ground. Just follow it until you reach a door. You'll need to interact with the switch nearby to try and open it.
- 2Collect Explosives: The door won't budge just yet, so we need to find some explosives. There are five scattered around this tunnel area. The first one is right across from the door. Take a right, and you'll find the second one next to a rock. Keep pushing forward along the path, and the third explosive will be on the floor near two barrels. For the fourth one, you'll need to crouch under a door and go to the end of that little tunnel – it's sitting on a table. Finally, climb over some rocks to your left and into another room to find the last explosive by a pillar.
- 3Load Explosives into Cart: Now that we've got all five explosives, head back to the minecart and load them up.
- 4Launch Minecart: Once the cart is loaded, shoot the back of it. This will send it hurtling towards the door, blasting it open!
- 5Follow Talon & Fight Varkids: After the path is clear, head deeper into the tunnel and keep following Talon. You'll eventually run into some Varkids – take them out quickly so they don't slow you down. Keep following Talon after the fight.
- 6Head to Devil's Razor: Talon will lead you out of the tunnel. Once you're back outside, fast travel to Devil's Razor. Grab a vehicle there and drive to the waypoint to meet up with Brick.
- 7Speak to Brick and Mordecai: After you've had a chat with Brick, he'll lead you to Mordecai. Just talk to Mordecai to wrap up the mission.
Tips
- Keep an eye on your minimap for the explosive markers; they can be a little tricky to spot sometimes.
- When you're fighting the Varkids, try to use area-of-effect attacks if you have them, as they tend to swarm.
- Don't forget to grab any loot that drops from the Varkids!
